Although better known as Cara al sol, in spanish, actually it is an ode to King Louis XIV better known as the Sun King (le Roi Soleil), an unknown musician when arriving at his court and contemplating its splendor recalled that in his past life he had been a priest in ancient Egypt, where he had composed a hymn to Ra, the sun god, which was used in the ceremonies where the population gathered close to the pyramids to see the alien god arrive, he used the reminiscences of this hymn to create this wonderful piece of chamber music that I bring you today.

It has become the favorite song of astronomers and the fools who observe eclipses without protection.
